In Bizarre Bazaar, players take on the role of desert merchants selling occult and mystical items to unsuspecting villagers. Each round, the top Item of the deck will be revealed. Each player will choose 1 of the 4 Bid cards in their hand, auctioning the available Item.
If a Player bids higher than another player, the winner will add the Item to their Cart by placing it face-up in front of them (any subsequent items must be placed on the far left or the far right side of the cart). In addition, both played Bid cards will be swapped between the players, allowing the losing player a better edge on later rounds.
In the event of a tie, bids are swapped as normal, but the Item becomes Cursed! Flip this Item and put it on the bottom of the deck – you will be bidding for a more powerful or opposite version of that Item later in the game. Each Item is worth a set amount of Victory Points, has a unique special ability, and has banners on it’s left and right. Matching these banners provides extra Victory Points when scoring at the end of the game.
After all Items have been auctioned, score VP equal to your Items and their special abilities, adding in 1VP for each pair of banners you were able to match. The Player with the most points is the winner! Multiple rounds may be played for a longer gameplay experience.
